Background

SP Sales and Lettings is a family run, independent estate agents, based in Coalville. They pride themselves on their local knowledge and expertise in the sales and lettings market and boast an unrivalled property management service.  

Advertising their properties across a number of online platforms, as well as through traditional print means, they came to us in order to achieve a consistent design across their marketing material.  

Brief

SP Sales and Letting approached us to make a variety of digital and printed materials to market their open house weekend, and complimentary banners for their website and social media platforms to promote themselves generally. It was important to them to convey that they were a local family brand, with people at the centre and also emphasise that this didn’t mean compromising on service. This meant highlighting that they were award winning. They had an established logo and colour palette, with basic brand guidelines and imagery from their site.

Final Solution

The final designs are held together by a strong, blue triangular border replicated on each banner and angled along the ‘roof’ on the logo. We used a fun, friendly illustration which complimented the provided hot air balloon image which we were asked to incorporate on the open house marketing. The triangular motif is used throughout the two different sets of marketing, though is variously offset and centred in order to balance the design. The centred design on the generic banner allows us to focus on the photo of the family and awards, as requested in the initial brief. Whilst the offset framing helps to create sections on the banner, giving the content a clarity and hierarchy.  

The repetition of the motif and the hot air balloon image creates the desired consistency despite the range of aspect ratios and formats the marketing covers. Infinitely scalable and recognisable, but not intrusive, it can be replicated in future campaigns.
