Meet the Team: Chris

Getting to know you...

At CWS we are a growing team of individuals who are passionate about our work and collaborate to create the best possible solutions for our clients.

Our latest team member is Chris, though he has been with us for a year now the time has flown! As the past year has meant we have been working remotely, we caught up with him to ask him some questions about himself and what he loves most about his role and work at CWS.

Could you please tell us a bit about yourself ?

I'm a Dad to two beautiful girls - Leah and Eden. I am a lover of coffee, whiskey and good food. I'm a very into DIY and a bit of a tinkerer. I have been building stuff for the web for over 20 years.

What is your role with us at CWS?

I work as the Senior web developer at CWS, which makes me responsible for all of our web projects.

What was your favourite project to work on? (Up until now?)

The mHub application was really fun to work on, and it has been really rewarding. I really liked how once the client got a glimpse of the possibilities of the app, they have come back with more ideas. This has meant that we have continued development. Hopefully its is a project we can continue working on for a while.

What do you like most about your job?

I love that the web is always changing and that there is always something new to learn. I'm passionate about building well-designed, fast, accessible web experiences.

What is your perfect day off? 

So I have 2 answers to this one: For me if I had a day off with people then spending time hanging out with my family and making memories with them is the best! But if you gave me a day totally to myself, it would probably involve getting out into nature and going on a hike. You also can't beat some time with a good cup of coffee and a book.
